"Hearing Analyzer Lite" is the ear health app that can be easily measured the frequency characteristics of your hearing.

It covers the vocal frequency range. You can self-diagnose the sound hearing ability.

In general, a high risk of hearing loss has been known if you continue to hear the sounds of a high acoustic pressure level, such as, listening of the portable audio and working with too loud noises.
According to WHO, some 1.1 billion teenagers and young adults are at risk of hearing loss due to the unsafe use of personal audio devices, including smartphones, and exposure to damaging levels of sound at noisy entertainment venues such as nightclubs, bars and sporting events.

By measuring the characteristics of your current hearing, please try to consider the wellness of your ears and the way of natural sound reproduction. It is possible to measure the hearing of the vocal range by finding the minimum point in the operation of the slider volume that you can hear the tesing pure tone for each frequency. The results are displayed in easy-to-read charts like the audiogram.

If you want to examine the hearing characteristics of a wide frequency ranges for audio band, please use our advanced app, "Hearing Analyzer Portrait".

Features:
- Test Tone generation: 125, 250, 500, 1k, 2k, 4k, 8k, 12k (Hz)
- Test Tone Output: Stereo
- Result graph display: Frequency response of hearing with ATH (*1) compensation.

*1: ATH (Absolute Threshold of Hearing)
ATH is also known as the hearing threshold, and is the minimum sound pressure level of pure tone that can be detected on the hearing in noise-free environment. Human is said to be able to listen from 20Hz to 20000Hz, but the sensitivity of the hearing will vary greatly depending on frequency. ATH varies with age and sex, but is a good sensitivity at mid range (1kHz - 5kHz), and needs more greater sound pressure level at a lower and higher frequency.

Attention:
Please use the earphones that provided with the iPhone in the hearing test.
The test tone is output in stereo. Remove the earphone on one side, please try to test in each ear.
This app generates a test tone signal with a high gain, so please special attention to the volume adjustment.
Before the diagnosis start, please set the hardware volume control to the central position of 50%. If the volume slider is moved to the right side, the output volume will have a large gain. So as not to be excessively large gain for your ears, please adjust it carefully.
