Sun Finder lets you see where the sun will be anywhere in the world, at any time of year, any time of the day. The Augmented Reality overlays the sun on the camera screen. You can directly see if the neighboring house hides the sun in the garden you are considering!
The app has two modes:
• Find the sun position for a given date and time
• Find at which time of the day and at which angle the sun appears in a given direction. Ensure you place the table correctly for your next romantic sunset dinner.
Turn your phone sideways to immediately view the sun with Augmented Reality. Document your findings by taking a geotagged picture.
This App doesn't need an internet connection. It only requires to know your location.
Sun Finder relies on the compass and GPS of your device. Best results are achieved if you are outside. Note that using a protective cover on your phone might interfere with the compass.
If your device doesn’t have a built-in compass, you cannot see the position of the sun directly on the camera screen (iPod touch, iPhone 3G or older models). You can still see the sun location and sunrise and sunset times in a list.
