If you live in planet earth, you have probably noticed someone checking into foursquare at some point. You know what we're talking about, this is the app that allows users to check into any given place and provides semi-creepy awards to those who check in the most and essentially participate in their site/app. Foursquare has gone through a number of updates this year and the latest includes a new updated IOS 7 redesign, less emphasis on badges and more emphasis on special coupons and initiatives to get you in locations you may not even know you want to visit. The Freapp team thought one of the best features of this app was the ability to make and follow lists by seasoned locals (very much like yelp) which usually had some cool tips & updated info.
