Programs for a setting out , site engineer (line-man) in the groundworks, r.c. frame construction and surveying industry.

4 programs - grid change, offset, radius and bearing & distance.

Grid change for changing stations or points in one grid to another. To convert the point in the old grid into the point in the new grid, you simply need to enter two known points in each grid, followed by the point you want to convert. The program will give you distance and bearing information, (the distance between the points in both grids should be the same as a check).

Offset for finding positions in relation to a line between 2 points. It will give you the distance square off the line of the point co-ordinates you have entered. It can also be used for setting out circles. The distance given to the shot you have taken can be used to close in on the circle if the centre of the circle is entered as point 1. It will give you the bearing and distance between the two points aswell.

Radius for working out cuts on a sheet of ply or any points on a chord. Convenient if the radius to be cut is large or if there is no room on-site to use a string line or long tape. For kerbing or similar you can enter your own x value to get a measurement off the chord.

Bearing and distance will get you the co-ords from a point on the bearing and distance you enter.

( I do not take any responsibility for any setting out errors because of these programs. Please always check your setting out.)
