Features of the App
An English edition of “Tokyo Guide” is already available, but the English style and content of this new app are aimed at the rapidly growing number of visitors from the Philippines coming to Japan.
The app is completely free to use.
Read page-by-page, or turn your smartphone on its side to read two pages (a double spread) at a time.
Tap the screen while reading to display the pagination function at the bottom of the screen. This function allows you to move smoothly to the page you want.
Once downloaded, content is available for reading until January 2020. From February 2020 onwards, the content is scheduled to switch to the latest digital book app.
Once downloaded, content can be viewed on a smartphone or tablet, and can be viewed offline. This means that you can enjoy travelling around Tokyo even if you have no Internet connection.

The areas, facilities and products featured are selected on the basis of careful research into the kind of information that visitors from the Philippines want. The app is packed with useful information for both groups and individuals.
Newly added information on Tokyo trends includes opportunities to experience traditional Japanese culture, special events in Tokyo, and the latest tourist attractions and shopping centres. This app gives you access to a wealth of information of a quality you would normally have to buy from a bookshop, free of charge!
