Lets you connect and "drop" events and invitations into all your family's and friends diaries by push and NOT email - just like SMS.

Droppa is a private calendar into which others a can drop events into rather than a subscription calendar which requires multiple users.

Droppa acts as a calendar hub that will also display entries that have been entered into your other external calendars. You can create drops from these entries to share with your contacts.

Your contacts get access to your diary and you access to theirs.

You cannot see other other's diaries but you have the ability to "drop" events into each other's schedules. All by push!

Create private networks of just the people closest to you.

Chat and comment privately about the "drops" (events) in question.

Droppa is a fantastic new way of interacting with your family and close friends and informing them via push notification rather than all other calendars/organizers which rely on email. Users all around the world are finding that Droppa makes family and friends organisation so much easier

Do you have problems organizing your family activities or find it hard to arrange dates with friends? Do you keep a family calendar hanging up at home but no one seems to take any notice of it other than you? Then you need Droppa!

Do all your family and friends use different external calendars and you're never sure which one to use?

Keep all you family and friends in touch with Droppa. Let your husband, wife, partner, children, parents, best friends, colleagues, or club members, in fact anyone, keep informed with push notifications from Droppa.
Droppa means that the family calendar is with you at all times and everyone can send you, or you can send them, drops inviting you to events or just keeping you up to date with what’s going on. Social gatherings, meeting up with friends, kid’s activities, work occasions, medical appointments, anything – it’s all in Droppa!

Droppa is an easy scheduler that lets you organize, invite or just inform your phone’s contacts of events or activities. Droppa is smartphone based and lets your contacts “drop” events into your schedule or, conversely, lets you “Drop” events into your contacts' schedules.

And because only the phone’s contacts can drop then it’s safer for children to use aswell.

All users will be able to group their contacts into social groups such as family, friends, colleagues, clubs etc. All users will be able to send “Drops” instantaneously and inform contacts by push notification. The “Drops” will contain details of activities or events which, upon acceptance, will automatically enter their contact’s calendars forming a viewable daily/weekly/monthly schedule. The user will therefore be kept informed about activities they need or wish to be aware of. Users will also be able to “share” drops thereby keeping other users informed about activities.

Each “Drop” becomes its own chat-room allowing attendees to discuss and chat about the event.

WHY USE DROPPA:

• AS EASY AS SMS: organize your family and social calendar as easy as SMS. It’s on your phone and therefore with you at all times.
ACTS as a calendar hub that pulls in and displays entries from your external calendars.
SECURITY: As Droppa only allows your phone’s contacts to drop with you, or you with them, Droppa is safer for children to use.
ALERTS: on receiving a drop Droppa will send you an alert informing you that a drop has been received.
• NO EMAIL ADDRESSES NEEDED: because Droppa operates via push notifications you don’t need all your contacts’ email addresses to send “Drops”. (User’s email address is required to register and to log in).
NOTIFY: if you receive a “Drop” informing you of an event or activity and you think others need to know about that event, whether on an involved or just a "need to know" basis, then Droppa can forward or “Notify” to the relevant contacts
