DigiSpeed GPS speedometer application is a free GPS speed measuring software for Android devices with built-in GPS antenna to measure your velocity. It acts as a normal speedometer, which you may find in any car, showing the velocity of the vehicle you are in in kph and mph. Useful when cycling, running, flying, sailing, or when you are on a train or bus and want to know the speed of the vehicle.

I try my best to make all readings as accurate as possible, but the accuracy also depends your device's GPS sensor and should only be treated as approximations.

In miles per hour (MPH)

You can set the app to kmh or mph.

Some features of the speed app include:

GPS Coordinates
-Shows you your current GPS position - Longitude, Latitude and Altitude, as well as your top speed.

GPS Speed
-Your current speed and your maximum velocity, according to the satellites.

Units
-Both the analog and digital speedometer views can be either in miles or kilometers per hour.

HUD - heads up display
-Car HUD styled speed, which will show you your velocity digitally with large numbers.

0-100 kmh (0-60 mph) time
-Measure you car acceleration from zero to sixty mph (or zero to hundred kmh). You just have to turn on the GPS, enter the acceleration measurement menu and wait for a satellite fix. Once ready to go the status will be changed to "GPS READY". The app automatically detects if you are stationary or moving, so you just have to go. Once the mark(100 for kmh, 60 for mph) is reached the timer will stop. If you stop again the timer will restart and you can perform the test again.

*Permanently set to KM/H or MPH.
