App consists of six different and unique categories for broader and easy learning experience. Numbers, Family, Colours, Days of the week, Months of the year and Phrases words translation into Yoruba are shown below in phone and tablets user interface. User can scroll from left to right access different categories within the app. Learn Yoruba is illustrative with different background colours to make learning Yoruba language fun and captivating for young or older user. The key features of the app are the audio and picture images. The audio recording will enable users to learn the proper pronunciation of each list items.
Images for family member has 12 pictures with Yoruba word at the top and English word below. Numbers has ten images with numbered (1 – 10). Colour list comes seven different shade of colours (White, black, Brown, Yellow, Grey, Red and Green) with colour images to match with their audio pronunciation in Yoruba. Days of the week (Monday -Sunday) and months of the year (January - December) has a total of 17 audio play backs for each particular word in Yoruba.
