Let award-winning StoryTourist guide you through Copenhagen while you take part of H.C Andersen's classic fairy tale The Little Mermaid, in a completely new way. Solve puzzles and unlock the story, as well as learn about the famous sites you visit. The app is location based and uses GPS. You can choose to read or to listen to the story, whatever you prefer.
This adventurous walking tour starts at Kongens Nytorv in Copenhagen, continues via Nyhavn, Amalienborg and The Gefion Fountain out to Langelinie – where the Little Mermaid sits on a rock looking out over the ocean.
StoryTourist invites you to step inside the story; you will experience the tale of The Little Mermaid as a StoryKeeper recruit. Frederik, a local StoryKeeper, is eager to share this adventure with you. He will lead the way and together you will explore some of the most famous sights in Copenhagen and solve puzzles which unlock parts of the mermaid’s story. Frederik has hidden clues and interactions along the way – features that will be triggered and show up on your mobile screen when you get close to them. These interactions ties story and reality together using sound, images and animations.
