The SPAC3 app is developed by ESA, European Space Agency with RAM radioartemobile, platform for contemporary art, in cooperation with ASI, Italian Space Agency, and Cittadellarte - Fondazione Pistoletto to raise awareness on preserving Earth and engage the public by creating a social artwork.

The SPAC3 application asks you to choose which six areas you wish to have your voice and share your message. These areas include all 17 goals adopted by the UN for their 2030 agenda, to resolve the most relevant global issues: People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, Partnership.

Following the proposed themes, the users will have the possibility to combine the space photos by ESA astronaut Paolo Nespoli, protagonist of the third long-duration mission VITA and part of Expedition 52/53 for ASI, with destination the International Space Station, with the Earth images by the user within the symbol of the “Third Paradise” by the Italian artist Michelangelo Pistoletto.

The images generated with this combination, once shared through Twitter will become part of a large, interactive mosaic in the frame of the Third Paradise, allowing to participate to this unique, dynamic “social artwork”.

The SPAC3 ever changing web platform will be populated by up to 1000 images generated by the users via this app. While the new submissions will leave room to the new entries, will still be possible to retrieve the list of all participants from a dedicated section on the http://spac3.space website.
