TRACK YOUR ELECTRICITY OR HEATING CONSUMPTION
Watts gives you a quick overview of your energy consumption. What is completely unique about Watts is that the app calculates your expected consumption, so you avoid surprises on your electricity and heating bill.
Watts displays your energy consumption using the colours red, yellow and green to show where your energy consumption is in relation to your expected usage. If you keep track of your consumption, you can avoid annoying surprises on your energy bill.

Do you buy your electricity from SEAS-NVE?
Then you can track your electricity consumption every day and every hour (if you have a remotely read electricity meter) and at the same time see how much power you can expect to use in the next quarter.
You need to use your electricity customer number and electricity meter registration number to register (you can find both numbers on your electricity bill from SEAS-NVE).

Do you receive district heating from Aalborg Forsyning?
Then you can track your district heating consumption per day and per hour if you have a new remotely read heating meter installed in your home. From November 2019, you can enjoy Watts if you live in the area of Aalborg Forsyning north of the fjord and are settled in m3. Large parts of the area south of the fjord are ready by the beginning of 2020.

If you have questions regarding the schedule for this, you are always welcome to contact Aalborg Forsyning.
You need to use your customer number and password to register in Watts (you can find both numbers on your bill from Aalborg Forsyning).

FUNCTIONS IN WATTS
o See your expected consumption in DKK/kWh/m3
o Track your actual consumption per quarter, week, day, hour
o See whether the circle on the front page is red/yellow/green (above/average/under expected consumption)
o Receive a message if your electricity consumption increases/decreases (messages for district heating are being developed)
o Compare your electricity consumption with others
o Track sales to the grid if you have solar panels
o See whether your current power is produced from wind, solar or coal
o Add more homes and track the consumption
o Add your own readings for electricity, water and heating (gas, district heating, etc.)

EVERYONE CAN USE WATTS
You can register without being a customer with SEAS-NVE or Aalborg Forsyning. This also applies if you do not have remotely read meters installed.
All you have to do is choose ‘Meters you read yourself’ at the end of the registration process.

This allows you to:
o enter your own electricity readings
o enter your own water readings
o enter your own heating (gas, district heating, etc.) readings
o track the changes in your energy consumption using graphs
o see your consumption displayed in DKK or kWh/m3

Watts is continuously being developed and more functions are being added.

WHO IS BEHIND WATTS?
The energy company SEAS-NVE is behind Watts. SEAS-NVE is a cooperative, and 390,000 members each own a part of the energy and fibre optic network group.

In addition, the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Aalborg Forsyning, Forsyning Helsingør, Kalundborg Forsyning and Frederiksberg Forsyning are partners via Watts’ development work.
