Set up groups for family and friends. When in danger anyone in your groups can press the power button quickly and repeatedly (a few times until the phone vibrates) to send an SOS. Everyone in the groups they are in will receive an unmistakable notification.
Once a SOS is sent and and others within the group open the app upon receiving the notification, they will be able to track the sender's whereabouts even if they move after sending the SOS. They will also be able to get directions to get to them.
Everyday uses:
1. As a substitute for expensive monitors for the sick and elderly to notify family/friends when they need help, including their location.
2. Ever go out shopping or vacationing with one or more people within your circles? Want each one to move freely while knowing where everybody else is? Share your locations so everyone knows where everyone else is, even as you all move independently.
3. Waiting for someone to meet you (even if they are not in your circles) and need to give them directions to get to you? Send them your location by email or SMS. They will receive your location on a map and will be able to get directions to reach you.
