AMG TRACK PACE is an app for ambitious AMG riders who want to be able to analyze and improve on the racetrack and share their experiences with their friends.
For cars with AMG TRACK PACE integrated within their infotainment system, you are able to send well-known race tracks from your smartphone to the car. We will continue to expand the number of race tracks available within the smartphone app. Further updates will also provide you with more exciting features in addition to the functionalities inside the infotainment system.
In addition to this, the AMG TRACK PACE smartphone application also supports the Mercedes-AMG GT, GT S, GT C and GT R, all Mercedes-AMG C 43, C 63 and C 63 S as well as all AMG-Mercedes GLC 43, GLC 63 and GLC 63 S as of production date June 2017 with the following features:
Track Recording
• Create your own personal circular and non-circular tracks with user-definable start and end points.
• While recording your track, you are able to define sectors for split times.
Lap Recording
• Record race parameters along with the video on your own created tracks.
• The recording function records more than 40 vehicle-specific data points such as a number of laps, number of sections, lap times, acceleration details and speed up to 10 times per second.
• You can also record a video using the smartphone camera.
Media Library
• Recordings are available locally on your device, so you can play any race at any time to analyze your performance and improve your driving skills.
• Analyze your driving skills with detailed graphs showing all vehicle-specific data at each point on the track.
• The app can automatically pick the most exciting moments from a video and cut a one-minute video.
• Share the recordings (the entire race record or the 1-minute highlight video including self-selected race parameters as an overlay) on your personal YouTube channel.
Note: Most of these features are available only when actively connected to the vehicle's Wi-Fi hotspot. A power supply for the smartphone during the recording of lap times and in particular videos is recommended. It is also recommended to use a Wi-Fi connection for sharing videos on YouTube.
