Have you ever wished if you could quickly get the distance traveled, area enclosed and an elevation profile of any arbitrary curvy path just by tracing out the path on a map with a finger! Yes this App can do and much more! This is the ONLY App that computes the AREA on the MAP of a closed path of ANY SHAPE! Yes, just trace the path with your finger (or a touch pen for better accuracy) along any geographical feature like a road, a trail, a mountain, a house, river, lake or a park. It is very accurate and takes into account the curvature of the earth to compute the shortest distance between two points (geodesic path). Obtain the elevation profile graph at the same time that also displays the net elevation and max elevation gain/loss., and total up and down gains.
While browsing the map continuously shows the gps coordinates and elevation of the map’s center point.
It is a great tool for somebody who wants to plan a walk or jog for a specific distance or a town planner or a landscape designer or a civil engineer or an architect for estimating distances, perimeters, areas and elevation profiles. In satellite view quickly estimate house area by tracing the roof boundary or size of the pool or areal dimensions of a building or a structure. Trace out the hiking/trekking trail and know your distance covered and an elevation gain. By tracing out multiple laps instantly know how many laps for a given distance or distance covered for given number of laps.
