Walking to your car on your own? Headed out for a run or maybe going on that first date? Or maybe you have to regularly be in unfamiliar settings or around strangers. If you ever debated calling 911 or not, SoSecure is for you. No matter where you go, there’s no need to go it alone.

SoSecure features a free, monitored SOS function that lets you discreetly contact ADT if you’re feeling unsafe or have an emergency. It lets you use the safest, most appropriate communication method, whether that’s a voice call or a text.

What’s new with SoSecure

SoSecure has a home screen widget!
We know that if you’re faced with an emergency, you want help as quickly as possible. So, we added a widget that lets you send an SOS alert from your home screen. Just unlock the widget on your home screen and then with one tap, you can send an SOS alert to ADT. You can still enter your PIN to cancel. If you’ve added TrackMe, you’ll be able to start and stop Activity Tracking from your home screen, too. Just press down on your home screen and select “Widgets” to add the widget to your home screen.

Additional TrackMe Notifications
Now, when you’re running a TrackMe activity tracking session, you’ll get an alert minutes before it ends to remind you to end your session – or extend it, if you need to – so we know not to check in with you if you don’t need it.

Low Battery Notification
We want to make sure you don’t run out of juice during a session, or just during your day. So, we’ll now notify you when your battery life hits 15%.

TrackMe provides two safety features in one package – Activity Tracking & Live Monitoring Agent.

Personal Security Made Simple
With Activity Tracking you can set a timer for any activity and invite ADT to track you.

1. Before you start, set a timer for any activity, up to four hours.
2. Invite ADT to track you via GPS. Your guardians can even track you in real-time, if you choose.
3. When you’re done, just stop the timer.

If the timer expires and we can’t confirm you’re safe, we’ll notify 911 and your guardians (typically family members or friends). We’ll send them a text with your location in an emergency. If you need help right away, we’ll notify first responders on your behalf, share your location and provide them any pertinent details.

It’s a lot of extra peace of mind for just $2.99/month.

Access to Emergency Response & Your Own ‘Virtual Bodyguard’
With our Live Monitoring Agent, you can have virtual security at your side and have someone on alert in case of an emergency. It’s like having a ‘virtual bodyguard’ who’ll stay connected to you via phone call or text until you feel safe. With live GPS tracking, the agent can get you help quickly if you need it.
