This free app will work on android TABLETS and PHONES.
Subtraction Level 1 is the introductory version of a program to teach subtraction.
The program contains:
a] several very basic examples to demonstrate the process of subtracting. These exercises are accessible by menu;
b] subtraction tables – subtracting the numbers: “1”; “2”; “3”, “4”; “5”; “6”; “7”; “8” and “9”. Each of the tables are accessible by menu; are revealed progressively; and will remain on the screen so the user can continue their study until they choose to return to the menu;
c] Tests for each of the tables in the apps;
d] A short mental exercise to test user recall and knowledge – all calculations are randomly generated;
e] Sound – to assist engage younger students or students learning English. Some numbers deliberately contain emphasis to help maintain interest;
This program is suited for:
a] Students in the earlier years of schooling;
b] Students who require sound to learn;
c] Students learning the English language;
d] All learning settings including: school classroom, tutoring sessions, and at home.
e] Phones and tablets - tested on several phones above 4" and tablets of 7" and 10".
Regular use of this app will help users in their tests and exams.
For older children and adults we suggest the sister application from Australiabiznet which is sold under the branding of "Mathematicskills". The sister application: does not have sound; contains additional tables [ up to “12”]; and more advanced testing activities.
After using the app for a period of time some users will like to skip directly from the front page of the app to the tables.
To enable a more speedy transfer an unmarked button is located on the front page of the app and is positioned above the word "copy" in copyright.
Due to market demand this app is being offered on a FREE basis and no longer includes advertising.
While we hope this app is entertaining we have developed this app to be more educational than an educational game. Importantly, understanding this app will help with subtraction problems, subtraction apps, division apps and other primary games.
