The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has undertaken a strategic initiative to deploy world-class Smart Government Capabilities as part of H.H. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid Aal Maktoum’s Smart Government initiative on federal level. The objective is implemented through introducing “MOF UAE” Mobile Platform that has a variety of Government to Citizen, as well as Government to Business, services. MoF mobile platform will allow the ministry customers and users to request, track and pay for government services without visiting any of ministry offices, achieving the ministry objective.
The platform aims to develop and strengthen the state position globally by highlighting the position center of the United Arab Emirates locally, regionally and internationally, In addition to strengthening relation and building strategic partnerships with Arab and foreign countries in order to promote sustainable development, diversify the sources of national income and create an attractive investment climate for investments of public and private sectors.
The users of the platform will be able to utilize and consume all information services that they would need to interact with the ministry at any time, providing them with comprehensive description for all of the offerings from the ministry to the public.
Also the residents, citizens, businesses users will be able to request, track and pay for Value Added Tax and Tax Domicile certificates issuance, that empowers the international trade market and the existing international agreements. The payment channel utilized for the mobile payment option through the ministry platform is e-Dirham (the national electronic payment method). After successful request and payment transaction the user will receive the signed hard-copy through the mail to his Post Office Box.
And also, the customers of the platforms will be able to interact with the ministry with their complaints, suggestions and feedback through 3 different channels, E-Suggestion, E-Complaints and Feedback. All of them are being served with remarkable service level agreements.
