This is a great 3D model viewer for iPad. It supports more than 30 popular 3D formats including STL, DXF, 3DS and DAE. Those formats are widely used by the most popular 3D CAD applications including Sketch Up, AutoCAD, etc. With help of this app, you can view your 3D model on the go, no matter you are at home or traveling abroad.
The app provides many 3D features including rotating model with finger movement, zooming in/out, panning, changing color, etc. You can also change rendering light intensity. The app supports loading multiple models at the same time so that you can view them together. It is extremely helpful when you want to compare your 3D data sets to make sure everything works correctly. You can also use the app to figure out basic dimensions of your model, for instance, the length along x, y or z direction, total surface area, total length, etc.
The app supports rendering 3D objects on top of different background, for instance, you can change background color, make it transparent or use an image as background. You can choose any image to be the background image. For instance, you can use model environment image, or your company's logo.

The app is not just a 3D data file viewer. It is also a file organizer. The app provides you file sorting features so that you can find your model quickly. You can sort by file name or file creation time. If you have too many models in the app's folder, you can use delete button of the app to remove the files you don't need any more. The app supports folders so that you can create folders and put files for different project in different folder. The app provides zip and unzip function. You can use it to zip / unzip compressed files in .zip format. The app also tells you information about your files, for instance, the size and creation time of the files. If you need share 3D model with your friend, coworker, client or partner, you can use in-app email feature to send your model out as email attachment.
The app provides native support for you to view documents in many different formats, including Microsoft Words (.doc, .docx), Excel (.xls, .xlsx), PowerPoint(.ppt, .pptx), Apple Numbers (.numbers), Pages(.pages), Keynote(.key), Adobe PDF (.pdf) and multimedia files including image (.png and .jpg) and video (.mov,.mp4,.3gp). This way, you can manage and view not only 3D files, but also other files of your project.
