It all started with an idea and a small team of former Eastern Germany product engineers and material scientists here in Salzwedel. Our dream is to support all currently available open charging standards, which enables charging services to widely available electric cars. Making things easy and fun for anyone, providing innovative and efficient technologies for Power Plug EV charging infrastructure. Our DC fast Power chargers are designed to provide the highest possible uptime.

Our patented Power Plug EV charger technology is unique. Out of the pack, our EV charger are easy to use too. We play a vital role in the development of sustainable mobility, providing innovative and efficient technologies for Power Plug EV charging infrastructure from the home to the great outdoors. We want to improve fast charger and re-imagine the EV stuff, combined with comprehensive solutions for user authorization, payment and network connectivity.

If we're honest, the first version of EV charger have been pretty horrible — made from waste wood mockups. But it helped us make our corporate EV plug and charge easier and more comfortable. We soon knew it could be amazing, we need Power Plug EV charging to feel gorgeous and it’d have a million uses. But it was only an idea. We got out our sketchbook and started imagining a world where this Power EV chargers, designed to provide the highest possible uptime, existed. We knew that, by tapping into people’s innate creativity, all kinds of chargers could be transformed and improved. I knew that we could adapt and drivers can count on our EV charger. When the most common questions were ‘how much is it?’ and ‘where can I get it?’, we got even more excited, and decided we had to make our concept real. We set up a small laboratory, and learned the charger basics so we could start what was to be 2 long hard years of formulation work. We had our first sucessful results in our Power Plug EV charger formulations, and applied for some patents.

We started to get consistently strong and fully-equipped Power Plug EV chargers, but lots of other electronic parts were still a big challenge. Our user trial group grew to over 100 people. Their feedback was feeding into our work, to tailor the maintenance and repair concept towards your service organization and competences. The pace of developments with the big Companies was very slow. We made a new years resolution. Stop listening to other peoples advice. Go with our gut. We set ourselves a deadline of 6 months to make it happen. It was now or never. We designed a brand to get ourselves excited. We made videos, designed packaging, and built a website about Power Plug EV charger running on an arduino. Having converted our lab into a little factory, we spent days and nights making and packing EV charger. All of our friends and family helped. It took an entire month of blood, sweat, tears and favours to make our first 1000 Power EV chargers.

While we were getting our factory and supply chain up and running, we started getting out – meeting our customers. We loved meeting all the awesome people we’d talked to online. We shipped to more than 40 countries. A lot of good people had been incredibly patient, and it felt great to share our idea of perfect EV chargers with the world. We had our Christmas party in our new factory. It's an amazing idea, and people are inspired. While continuing to keep community creativity at the heart of what we do, we get focused on bringing EV chargers to the next level. A simple and elegant solution that would be difficult to do without our EV charger - awesome! In the time since we launched, we'd had hundreds of emails asking for different colours. We're blown away! A strong interest in emobility and EV charging has been building in Scandinavia. EV charging has always been about so much more than itself. We felt strongly that we could help fuel a conversation about why a culture of e-mobility is important and was shared all around the internet.
