SasaBus informs you about the South Tyrolean bus service managed by the SASA company.
REALTIME: On a map you can view the positions of all* buses in real-time. Additionally you see their delays, destinations and current bus stops. As there are a lot of buses traveling, there is a filter which allows you to hide lines you do not need information of. This tool keeps the map cleared from unneeded data, so being more efficient and simultaneously helps you find information a lot faster.
LINES: You can view the currently driving lines, and get a list of all existing ones. You can see the departure and arrival bus stop of every line. Moreover you can view the week days a line drives on and it’s average delay. Lastly there is additional information about that specific line.
PATHS: You can retrieve the path a line drives. On a map you will see markers at every bus stop of that line.
BUS STOPS: A list of bus stops let’s you select the one you are searching for. There is an extra search function, in order to find a bus stop as fast as possible, as there are more than 900 to choose from. There also is a map with all the bus stops.
ROUTE: A route planner helps you find a connection between two bus stops, just enter the departure and arrival stop, and optionally the date and time. The app saves your queries so you don’t need to retype the same data, if you drive a specific route more often.
TRIPS: If you enable Bluetooth while driving with the bus, your trips will be saved**. As soon as you leave the bus, you will be informed about your trips’ duration, departure, destination and other information. The app tells you how much CO2 you have wasted using the bus and compares it with a car. A map shows the path you have driven. You are given details about the bus and can optionally share trips with your friends.
TIMETABLES: You can download a PDF package with the timetables of every line. There are two PDFs with the route network of Bolzano and Merano.
NEWS: The app keeps you informed about any important activities. You will be alerted about new bus stops and lines, timetable and path modifications and other important changes. There are three separated sections for Bolzano, Merano and general news.
PARKING: If you are driving a car you might want to know if there are any free slots in the parking houses of Bolzano. The app will tell you exactly how many slots are empty in multiple parking houses. Also it shows you the three nearest stations to a parking house and gives you its telephone number in case you want to request additional information.
SETTINGS: We want to make the app as flexible as possible, thus letting you personally customize various settings. You can select from three languages: English***, Italian and German and multiple map types. If you have beacons enabled you will optionally get notifications of nearby buses and bus stops**.
PROBLEMS AND ERRORS: If you should encounter any problems or bugs in the app or detect unintended behaviour, please let us know by sending us a report using the build-in function in the app. In case you should notice a missing bus stop, please let us know. We appreciate every help and tips we get. Thanks a lot for your support!
HELP AND FEEDBACK: If you have difficulties using the app, have an idea for a new feature or want to share your opinion about the app, feel free to contact us (see app for contact information). If you like you can vote the app and optionally leave a comment here on the Play Store. We would appreciate it.
