Industrial valves in process technology are automated with AUMA electric actuators. They form the interface between valve and the distributed control system of the plant.
The AUMA Assistant App allows fast and easy configuration of AUMA actuators from a smartphone or tablet. All the actuator’s operating parameters can be set via the app, saving considerable time and cost during commissioning. The app uses Bluetooth wireless communication to transfer data to and from the actuator. Password-protected user levels provide efficient protection against unauthorised parameter modification.
The main functions for actuator configuration and diagnostics are listed below:
• Modification of individual parameters or several actuator parameters simultaneously
• Upload of predefined parameter records to an actuator
• Transfer of actuator settings to another actuator
• Snapshot function for reading all diagnostics and operating data.
Based on this information, fault causes can be quickly determined and eliminated.
• Upload of snapshot data to the AUMA Cloud for detailed analysis
• Opening of service requests to directly contact the AUMA Service for support.
Status and processing steps can be viewed at any time in the AUMA Cloud.
The AUMA Assistant App also allows you to download all documents available relating to your AUMA actuator, simply by scanning a QR code on the actuator:
